Element Entry Wizard

Element Entry Wizard is an Excel based front-end for the Oracle HR Element Entries Form. This program contains the validation and defaulting rules according to the Element Definition. You can download existing Element Entries from within Oracle as the basis for your new Element Entries and employ the features of Excel to help prepare and load your data. Element Entry Wizard is an ideal tool for data conversion, data migration and on-going maintenance of Employee Element Entries.

Features

  • Columns of input data are dynamically configured in the worksheet according to your Element Definition.
  • Recurring and Non-recurring Elements are supported.
  • You can choose to enter data using either the Element Line Form or by pasting data directly into the worksheet.
  • The optional Element Lines Form includes data validation and lists of values according to your Element Definition.
  • Information can be downloaded from Oracle, modified and reloaded.
  • You can load one, a selected range or all Element Entries from the worksheet.
  • Submit BEE (Batch Element Entry) Interface from the spreadsheet adn refresh the spreadsheet to view the result.
  • Messages are returned to the worksheet.
  • Use multiple sheets and even operate on sheets in other workbooks.

This program uses the standard Batch Element Entry (BEE) Interface Tables. Installation can be performed in minutes by your DBA.
