What is More4apps and what does More4apps software do?

More4apps software is used  for mass creation and updates of data, data validation, creation and updates for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and E-Business Suite software.

It’s designed to empower end-users to own and manage their data and processes by combining the power of Excel with their ERP system.

Our tools have been built to enable companies  to streamline data-based business processes and free up IT departments with pre-built no code solutions for many data intensive processes.

More4apps products are used by Oracle Fusion Cloud Application and E-Business Suite customers and partners. More4apps has over 450 customers from a variety of industries in a multitude of geographies around the world.

What is a Wizard?

It is a fully integrated Excel spreadsheet from More4apps designed to download and upload data from Excel to Oracle E-Business Suite.
From a user’s point of view they work in the same way as a Loader for E-Business Suite.

What is a Loader?

A loader is a template or set of templates for a specific business function. Loader templates sit on top of the Application Interface Wizard. Which is a fully integrated Excel worksheet designed to download and upload data from Excel to Oracle E-Business Suite.

What is a Module?

It is a fully integrated Excel add-in based product from More4apps designed to download and upload data from Excel to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for a specific business area.

I already have an Oracle Fusion Cloud Application spreadsheet to load data, (VBCS, ADFdi or FBDI) why do I need More4apps?

Which E-Business Suite versions does More4apps support?

Release 12.x
The majority of products support 11.5.10. Please refer to individual product pages for more information.

Which Excel versions does More4apps support?

For both Fusion Cloud Applications and E-Business Suite Excel 2010 onwards. However, More4apps recommends Excel 2016 or Office 365 desktop version. The 64 bit installation of Excel is preferred over the 32 bit version as it has better memory management and can handle larger data sets.

How can I test More4apps product?

Does More4apps support Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Yes.
More4apps products for Fusion Cloud Applications and E-Business Suite support SSO login and non-SSO (local Oracle user) login.
When using SSO login, users receive a browser window where they enter their SSO login credentials.

What is your pricing model?

The pricing model is subscription based on a floating user count for Fusion Cloud Applications and a named user model for EBS.

Is it one product for both ERP systems

No, the Fusion Cloud Applications offering is a Product Module supported by an Excel add-in.
The EBS Wizards and Loaders are programmed Excel spreadsheets without an Excel add-in.

Do More4apps products support Flexfields?

Yes, all Descriptive Flexfields are supported out-of-the-box, complete with LOVs from their definitions in Oracle.

Is there any interim staging area where our data gets stored?

No, More4apps products use APIs, Oracle’s standard interface tables or Oracle’s standard REST/SOAP webservices to transfer data to your instance. There is no other area we post or store your data in.

More4apps tools are too powerful in the hands of some of our users; can we give limited tailored access to some users?

Each More4apps product has different mechanisms to restrict the extent of access, e.g. Templating functionality or profile options. With these options you can control which sections and actions are available to users at responsibility, or even at user level.

Do More4apps Cloud Templates need any Excel plugin (including the ADFdi plugin)?

Yes. The More4apps ERP Cloud Add-in.
It does not require any Oracle Add-in.

Support

Do More4apps EBS Wizards require Oracle WebADI patches?

No. More4apps templates work independently of any Oracle WebADI object. Users don’t need to install Oracle WebADI patches to use More4apps.

How do I create a support ticket?

Go to the More4apps Support Portal to submit a ticket for your issue. Simply provide a few details about your issue and upload supporting files/screenshots – the more detail you provide, the better!
Your case will be routed to the right person and they will reach out to further assist you

Can I open a support case by email?

Yes, you can email supportteam@more4apps.com to open a case.

Please include enough detail to identify the account, the product and detail about the issue.

Email attachments will be added to the case.

How do I get detailed technical help?

You can read the user manual and release notes from within the product you are using. You can also search our support portal to find helpful articles, FAQs and other tips and tricks from our product experts.

Is support available for my region?

Yes! Our team is based in multiple locations around the world, to provide the best support for you.

What training resources are available?

User guides are available on our website.
Short video clips are also posted for many of our products.

Is there a More4apps community?

License

Do I need a separate license for each instance?

The same license key can be used for all EBS environments, such as PRODUCTION (live instance), DEV or TEST systems if they are on the same domain name.


However, TRIAL license key allows connection to DEV or TEST environments only.
