A large, publicly traded Canadian engineering, logistics, and energy holding company with subsidiaries spanning electric utilities, construction, and natural gas production and distribution.
The Challenge
While planning a migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud, the company discovered Oracle offered no built-in tools for efficient contract management. With too many projects to manage manually, inputting and updating contracts one at a time risked slowing down critical government work and disrupting funding, billing, and cash flow tracking.
The Solution
Their implementation consultant, already familiar with More4apps, recommended the Contract Integrator within the ERP Cloud Toolbox Projects Module. It let the team consolidate contract headers, DFFs, billing controls, approvals, and party details into a single Excel spreadsheet, validating data before securely uploading to Oracle.
The Results
Just two months after their first conversation with More4apps in December 2023, the company had the Projects Module fully implemented. Today they manage over 350 individual projects and 170 project groups across the US, with a centralized view of contract data, pre-upload validation, and the flexibility to build custom columns and formulas. End users now own their data directly, and inaccurate data no longer disrupts billing or cash flow.
