The Challenge
Each month, the AR team manually created around 400 AR transactions, a time-consuming, error-prone process. Having used the More4apps AR Invoice Wizard for nearly a decade on Oracle EBS, the team needed a comparable solution for Fusion Cloud. IT first tried Oracle’s built-in FBDI tool, but end-users found it unintuitive: the template lacked embedded validation, errors surfaced only in a separate, hard-to-reconcile PDF report, and users needed constant help from Oracle AR consultants just to get through testing.
The Solution
After FBDI testing made the gaps clear, Oracle itself endorsed the More4apps ERP Cloud Toolbox as a more user-friendly alternative. Since the AR team already knew More4apps from their EBS days, testing the AR Integrator was an easy transition. Its Excel interface, customizable templates, and real-time validation stood out immediately, with successful records highlighted in green, errors in red, and clear, actionable messages that let users fix problems without waiting on IT.
The Results
The company went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud in January 2023 with AR processes powered by More4apps. The AR team now handles daily tasks independently and with confidence, and overall AR and billing productivity has significantly improved.
