A leading North American provider of environmental and industrial services, offering hazardous waste management, emergency spill response, industrial cleaning and maintenance, and recycling for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
The Challenge
After migrating to Oracle Fusion Cloud from PeopleSoft in 2023, the client found Oracle’s free data loading tools, FBDI and ADFdi, complex and inflexible compared to what they’d had before. Invoice management was the biggest pain point: some recurring invoices ran nearly 25,000 lines, and Oracle’s built-in tools lacked the fields and flexibility to handle them. AP was left manually creating these invoices every month.
The Solution
In early 2024, the client implemented the More4apps ERP Cloud Toolbox Finance Module, an Excel-based platform that integrates directly with Oracle Fusion. Instead of switching between screens and spreadsheets, users manage every invoice transaction in one place. The result: downloading, pre-validating, and uploading data is now 90% faster.
AP also builds customized Excel templates for each large bill, matching how they receive source data from vendors. This makes it easy to compare month-over-month changes, adjust for billing updates, and catch errors in-sheet before anything uploads to Oracle.
The Result
The client now saves hours on every recurring, lengthy invoice, with fewer manual errors and more time for higher-value work. Built-in validation keeps data accurate and complete before it ever reaches Oracle.
Following this success, the client plans to expand More4apps into item management, where they add roughly 75 new items daily across 650+ inventory organizations, another area ripe for faster, more accurate data entry.
