The Client’s Challenge
EF decided to move all of its financial systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. It was a two-year project that affected 50,000 team members in 100 countries. After trying Oracle’s data loading tool – FBDI – they quickly needed to replace it with More4apps’s Finance Module.
EF Education First, a global education company operating in over 100 countries, transitioned from a 20-year-old on-premise ERP system to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to support its growth. The two-year migration affected 50,000 employees and highlighted the challenges of adapting to new systems and processes
FBDI Data Loading Troubles after Moving to Oracle Cloud
While the transition was technically successful, change management proved to be the biggest obstacle, requiring extensive communication and training to ensure employee alignment. Post-migration, EF faced significant difficulties with Oracle’s data-loading tools, including ADFdi and FBDI, which lacked usability, flexibility, and real-time error reporting.
EF implemented the More4apps ERP Cloud Toolbox Finance Module to address these challenges. The Excel-based tool streamlined data uploads, provided in-sheet error validation, and allowed users to edit and upload data seamlessly. Training was quick, and the software significantly improved efficiency and accuracy.
